What is Twenty-Five Twenty-One about?
The 1997 financial crisis dissolves Na Hee-do's high-school fencing team and Baek Yi-jin's family fortune in the same season. She transfers schools to keep chasing a national title under the rival she idolises; he falls from chaebol son to rental-shop clerk to sports reporter. Over five years the two circle each other as rivals, confidants and first loves, while the country rebuilds and the distance between twenty-five and twenty-one keeps changing shape.
