Corrections
We aim for accuracy in scores, cast credits, release dates, and review text. When we get something wrong, we fix it and note material changes. A lastmod that lies is worse than one that is old — we only bump dates when the content actually changed.
Email hello@celluloidscore.com with the page URL, what is incorrect, and a source if available. We review reports within two business days. This log is a feature, not a legal box.
What do you correct?
Factual errors in reviews (names, plot details, release dates), incorrect score components when source data was wrong, broken links, missing attributions, or misleading schema. Taste disagreements are not corrections. A reader who thinks a 72% should be a Pick is making an argument; a reader who finds we stored the wrong IMDb id is reporting a defect.

How do corrections appear?
Minor typos are fixed silently. Material changes receive an updated timestamp and, for reviews, a note at
the top describing what changed. Score recalculations update the Celluloid Score and component breakdown
on the movie page immediately after verification. Sitemap lastmod is derived from the same
content history as the visible date, so the two cannot disagree by policy.
When do you retract a review?
If a review contains a serious factual error that affects the verdict, we retract or rewrite it with a clear correction notice. We do not delete published URLs without redirecting or noting the change. Invented numbers are defects that outweigh a hundred pages — if we cannot source a figure today, we remove it.
Public log
Material corrections are listed below, newest first. An empty log means none have been filed yet — not that the site is infallible. The 12 August 2026 scoring-copy pass is logged because it changed how we describe the composite in public.
