Iljimae (2008) Review: Joseon's Masked Robin Hood
★★★★☆
Iljimae is a 20-episode Korean period adventure about a masked Joseon thief who robs the corrupt, carried by Lee Joon-gi's dashing double-life lead.
Yes. It is a stylish, exciting sageuk for fans of historical action and hidden-identity heroes, provided you can forgive 2008-era effects and a baggy middle stretch.
