What is The King's Warden about?

In Joseon-era Korea, a royal warden tasked with guarding a deposed king discovers that loyalty to the crown and loyalty to conscience may be incompatible. Jang Hang-jun's period drama balances palace intrigue with intimate moral reckoning, led by Yoo Hae-jin in a performance that dominated Korea's early-2026 box-office charts.
