Our editorial review is published. The Devil Wears Prada 2 (2026) Review: Miranda Holds Court. The composite score is a separate measure. It requires an editorial rating and at least one independent rating input.

What is The Devil Wears Prada 2 about?

Nearly two decades after Runway reshaped her life, Andy Sachs is drawn back into Miranda Priestly's orbit when the fashion empire faces a hostile takeover and a generational reckoning. David Frankel reunites Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci for a sequel that trades ice-queen cruelty for sharper stakes about power, legacy, and whether anyone ever truly leaves the devil's employ. The film asks if Andy graduated from Miranda's crucible or merely changed uniforms — then answers with handbags, boardroom set pieces, and Streep playing one of cinema's great instruments at full volume.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 (2026) Review: Miranda Holds Court

The Devil Wears Prada 2 reunites Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt nearly two decades on, a polished, enjoyable sequel that trades bite for warmth.

Yes, with reservations. Fans of the original will enjoy the reunion and Streep's commanding return, but the satire is softer and the plot more routine than before.
