What is Kanto about?

After years spent caring for her family, 45-year-old homemaker Sude is finally ready to start a job of her own — until her mother-in-law Saliha, whose dementia has been worsening, comes to live in her home. A tense family dinner ends in a bitter argument, and by morning Saliha has vanished into the snow.
