What is Crime 101 about?
Adapted from Don Winslow's novel, Bart Layton's Los Angeles crime saga follows a meticulous jewel thief who plans scores along the 101 freeway with surgical patience. Mark Ruffalo's detective closes in from one direction while Halle Berry's insurance broker discovers the heists intersect with policies she should never have written. Chris Hemsworth plays the thief as a man who treats criminality like craft — until Barry Keoghan's wild card enters the lane and turns a clean operation into a collision course. Layton blurs documentary instinct and narrative thriller until neither side feels entirely trustworthy.
