Chhaava (2025) Review: Vicky Kaushal's Roaring Maratha Epic
★★★½☆
Chhaava is Laxman Utekar's Hindi historical epic about the Maratha ruler Sambhaji's war with Aurangzeb, powered by Vicky Kaushal but loud, long and one-sided.
Mostly yes. Fans of big Indian historical action will find Vicky Kaushal commanding, but viewers wanting nuanced history or a lighter touch may find it exhausting.
