Breakfast on Pluto (2005) Review: Charm Against the Troubles

Breakfast on Pluto is Neil Jordan's picaresque 1970s tale of Kitten, an Irish trans woman adrift in London, lifted by Cillian Murphy's fearless lead turn.

Mostly yes. Cillian Murphy's performance is reason enough to watch, though the episodic story wanders; best for fans of bittersweet, left-field Irish comedy-drama.
