Animal (2023) Review: Bravura Craft, Ugly Heart

Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal is a three-hour-plus Hindi revenge saga about a son's violent devotion to his father: bravura filmmaking with a troubling heart.

Yes, with serious reservations. Ranbir Kapoor is ferocious and the action is bravura, but its view of women and its 201 minutes will put many off. Strictly for adults.
